with Condé Nast Traveler China

The magazine's 10th anniversary celebration and 2023 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List Ceremony held at The Londoner Macao;
'Sands Lifestyle' showcases multi-faceted capabilities through exciting activities

(Macao, Nov. 7, 2023) – Sands Lifestyle in cooperation with Condé Nast Traveler China, a luxury and lifestyle travel magazine published by Condé Nast, presented the 2023 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List Ceremony and a series of other exciting events at The Londoner Macao on November 3, 2023. This is the first time that the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List, hailed as the 'gold standard' of service and hospitality by travellers worldwide, was unveiled in Macao.

Other firsts included the editors-in-chief and representatives of Condé Nast Traveler's seven global editions being invited to gather in Macao for a three-day, two-night journey, joined by hotel and travel industry experts, celebrities, media representatives and social media influencers. An array of activities was also held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Condé Nast Traveler China, including a sharing session, City Walk and creative video shooting showcasing the multi-faceted capabilities of Sands Lifestyle and the rich diversity of Macao as a 'World Centre of Tourism and Leisure' in the spheres of gastronomy, travel, entertainment and culture.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, President and Executive Director of Sands China Ltd., said, "We are delighted to join hands with Condé Nast Traveler China on a wide range of activities, including hosting the prestigious Gold List Ceremony. Condé Nast Traveler China embodies a perfect fusion of leisure and sophistication, and spontaneity and tradition, which echoes Sands Lifestyle's mission to enrich travel experiences and add a joyful spark to life. Sands China has always been committed to providing our guests with a wealth of travel and holiday experiences, and creating exceptional journeys tailored to the aspirational desires of each guest. This collaboration also demonstrates Sands China's firm support for the Macao Government Tourism Office's tourism + cross-sector integration initiative, and will help further consolidate and enhance the visibility and influence of Macao as a diversified travel destination through domestic and international media coverage."

Condé Nast Traveler China was launched in March 2013, and has since become the go-to reference for high-end travellers. With the motto of 'Truth in Travel', the magazine covers not only destinations, hotels, food and wine, road trips, aviation, travel etiquette and business travel, but also travel clothing, shopping, beauty and travel lifestyle.

"Condé Nast Traveler China was founded a decade ago, and first released the Gold List the following year," said Shawn Ong, Head of Editorial Content at Condé Nast Traveler China. "The hotels on this list have become increasingly appealing over the past decade. With the Gold List 2023, we are showing respect for all the people in the hotel industry, including all colleagues present, because of your dedication. Great hotels are now helping us gain a better understanding of our cities and experience urban lifestyles. My gratitude goes to my friends at Sands China, as The Londoner Macao has made the hotel itself a fascinating space where one feels at home. I also want to thank Macao, a cultural melting pot, for continuously bringing us nice surprises like never before and allowing us to discover the greatness of travel."
